How simple questions lead us to mathematics’ deepest truths”\n\nThis will be at the wonderful family-run bookstore Sandmeyer’s\, on Thursday August 31\, 6:30pm to 8pm.\nEveryone is welcome! You can pop in or stay for the whole time. I will say a few words at around 7pm. DESCRIPTION:Liederstube is back from summer hiatus! It’s 2nd Friday Open Studios at the Fine Arts Building. Come and bring some Lieder or art songs to sing with Eugenia Cheng at the piano\, or just come and have a drink and enjoy classical music in an informal and intimate setting. Everyone is welcome\, including children!\n\nDuring Open Studios various artists in the building open their doors to the public\, so you can wander around and see what else is going on\, and admire the person-operated elevators before they get modernised in the near future…\nMasks are optional but welcome. Please respect everyone’s comfort levels with distance\, and please do not play or touch the piano.
